Take a Chance for Change with Reiki ' Universal Healing Energy ' Reiki is a safe natural therapy that promotes healing at all levels by the gentle nurturing energy radiating from the hands. Reiki can dramatically help in the healing of cuts, burns, injuries from sport, stress related illnesses and emotional problems. Reiki supports the body's natural ability to heal itself, balances the body's energies, loosens up blocked energy and promotes a state of total relaxation, adjusts itself according to the needs of the recipient and can assist and support other complimentary and alternative medicines and therapies.   The Principles   We all have our own principles or values, they affect the way we live and choose to carry out our daily tasks, Reiki can be more than just hands on healing, it is also a guide as to how we conduct our day to day events and also help us to see things for what they are. Even though the principles may seem simple, they are not only relevant to us today but they are the beginning of what we would want to become. (Various versions of the principles are used but the basic interpretations are the same)   Just for today - Do not anger. Just for today - Do not worry. Honour your Parents, Teachers and Elders. Earn your living honestly. Show gratitude to every living thing.   All I would like to add is To yourself be true. You can spend time trying to convince everyone around you that all is fine. But sure enough You will need to take responsibility at some point for yourself.   Reiki Healing.   The Reiki session is carried out whilst you lay on a couch(fully clothed), it normally lasts for approximately 1 hour. The cost for Reiki Healing is £30, If you wish to pay by credit card or pay for a session as a gift, please use the paypal option. As a Reiki Master, I will hold my hands on and over various areas of the body, some people often feel a warm sensation or tingling in the body, people also generally feel very calm and relaxed after the session, the full effects of Reiki energy will become more relevant over the longer term, emotions can be released days later. Distant Healing It is also possible to receive Reiki energy whilst at another location, this is useful if you are unable to visit or get to see a Reiki Master or therapist. If you wish to receive this service, please email your name, location and details to me and I will be able to send Reiki remotely.
